Fastr introduces the blockchain into marketing research and makes surveys convenient. In 2017, Pavel Volkov noted that the market for marketing research requires the introduction of modern technologies in methods of collecting and analyzing information. The main pain that he encountered was the lack of an accessible tool for interviewing the audience. Existing polling methods did not meet all requirements: data acquisition speed, affordable cost, scalability. At least one of these moments dropped out.
For example, if you decide to conduct a survey using a questionnaire on the streets, then you will spend a lot of time both on the questionnaire itself and on processing information. In addition, this is a very costly method and requires the payment of interviewers and analysts. The same applies to telephone interviews and focus groups. If you conduct a survey using the internet and social networks, it will greatly speed up the process, but it will not take you down. People are not particularly interested in spending their time on something that does not bring them physical or moral satisfaction. But at the moment nothing prevents to combine the best technologies and methods in one convenient and accessible tool. Fastr is born!
Anyone can become a user of the project and create or participate in surveys, receiving a reward for it. The main feature of the project is the use of Universa blockchain technology to prevent any attempts to falsify data, ranging from the use of bots to the substitution of information. “In existing research methods, there is no guarantee of the validity of the data. What is the guarantee that the data is not falsified for someone’s needs, or simply because of the negligence of employees? We create a mark of quality in marketing research. Data in Fastr is impossible to fake. ”- founder of Fastr, Pavel Volkov.
The app was launched in September 2018 and is currently available for Russian speaking testers. The first survey using Fastr was conducted among students of the Almaty Institute. The students answered a few simple questions, but that was enough to test an early version of the application. Users identified some bugs, which are currently being fixed. A new version of the application, that will also include the functionality to find a survey with just a QR code, is scheduled for release before the end of October. In the coming months, you will also be able to withdraw the Fastr tokens or spend them within the application.
The Fastr team will be present on Say Future (24-25th of October in Moscow) and on Research week (8-9th of November, also in Moscow). If you happen to be in the area, please pass by and say hi to Pavel and his team!
