The new communication platform will be one of the areas of cooperation between the Development Fund of Ugra and Universa Blockchain in the agreement signed today at the SPIEF-2019 forum in Saint-Petersburg.
The document was signed by the General Director of the Development Fund Roman Genkel and the CEO of Universa Alexander Borodich.
The subject of the agreement is a technology partnership in the development and launch of promising projects in the district, involving the creation of a pilot area for the implementation of intelligent digital technologies and digital services, including the practice of government bodies.
According to Roman Genkel, in the near future, it is planned to create a center of competence in the field of tourism development. This initiative of the Ugra Industry Department was supported by representatives of the tourism industry and the public council under the department.
The future center will function to promote the tourist potential of the autonomous region in Russia and the world, an increase in tourist flow to Ugra. “In this regard, the Development Fund plans to develop a multilingual communication platform that will unite into a single digital ecosystem of all participants in the tourism market: suppliers of tourism products and services, transport companies transferring tourists, accommodation and catering facilities, tourist and cultural facilities of the region, tourists on holiday in the autonomous region, – explained Roman Genkel. By creating a universal tourist user system, all local tourist resources can be shared by tourists. In addition, the platform will focus on the design and promotion of routes and hospitality and tourism facilities in the region, monitoring the activities of companies in the field of tourism and the accumulation of a “data pool”, which will help identify problem areas and ways to expand tourist flows. ”
